About
The WindsorPatania founders bring to the table a unique combination of architectural and property investment & development expertise. As a young ambitious architectural company, we’re keen to improve people’s lives through our designs.
Our practice bases its designs on the principles of people-focused design, sustainability, and contextualisation.
We specialise in sustainable design always focusing on:
- Anthropocentric Approach: Our designs are functional, easy to use, and comfortable as well as aesthetic. We design spaces that work for the people who use them. Our people-focus is also reflected in the way we work. We differentiate ourselves from other firms with our unique customer journey.
- Sustainability: Sustainability principles are integral to our designs. We specialise in sustainable buildings and built environments.
This is about more than minimising the environmental impact of our designs, encompassing also how people behave in the spaces we create.
- Contextualisation: Our designs are appropriate to their context.
We apply principles of structural and material optimisation or modularity when it’s needed, to achieve the best possible results on a tight budget, as well as imply top-notch technologies when the resources are available to do so.
Besides building the new constructions with sustainable principles, we also revitalize old, historical and unused buildings that have fallen into disrepair. Some examples include a former Victorian police station conversion into a boutique hotel, a theatre transformation into 26 flats and an Andrew Carnegie library conversion into a mixed-use commercial / residential development. In bringing these neglected buildings to life we create transformational spaces that are inspiring, modern, and sustainable.
Our multicultural team cares deeply about making a positive impact. We have a history of supporting various social projects and it’s become an aspect of our practice that the entire team is proud of.

Environmental mission and strategy (ESG)
Sustainability is not only a way to design a building that is energy-positive and carbon-neutral, with the use of natural materials sourced locally. It’s a way to improve people's lives with design and architecture. Applying the most innovative sustainability principles, we’re able to create a socially and ecologically responsible environment. Sustainability is also a concept that we apply not only in our architectural projects but in our day-to-day business. For instance, within 5 years we’ve been practicing remotely, we practically haven't printed many documents; we follow all the sustainability measures.
