Conversion of an existing 3-story mixed use brick building in the Greenwich Village Historic District.

This project converted an underdeveloped 19th century mixed use buiding into a maximum FAR apartment building in the Greenwich Village Historic District in Manhattan. The end result features 6 luxury apartments, some with private terraces, and a ground floor new corner cafe. We wanted to express the original brick scale of the building while expressing the added top floor in modern materials. All residential units are individually conditioned by all-electric high efficiency split heat pumps.
