Great job done by a great crafts person for a beacon of light, the lighthouse...
Some may wonder why I’m not on FB and social media more? Because - doing things- is more important than talking & flexing, and the most powerful way to be with someone is - in person.
But I love Love restoring old windows, with regular simple maintenance they last hundreds of years, don’t wait as long as this window for that occasional maintenance!
And REMEMBER “drafty” old houses need attic insulation and basement attention - NOT throwing out the best windows ever made (pre 1940 old growth sash).
When your cold in the winter you put a blanket on top your legs - not beside them - cap off the heat flying up out of your attic and seal up your basement and most of your “drafty” cold problem is gone, then you can put money into restoring beautiful windows that will last hundreds of years, instead of sub-par replacement windows that are gonna need - uh replaced - over and over - costing you time, beauty and tons of money.
