We don't know of anyone that has used them in Alberta unfortunately. Whether or not they get approved seems to be hit and miss I have heard of several people in Ontario trying to use Ductless Air Exchangers, some had no problem and some were refused. I think the best bet for anyone that wants to try Installing ductless HRV ERV ventilation systems to check with their munipality first to make sure it will pass.
Michelle Dimaano, did you get an answer as to if anybody in Alberta has used lunos and passed inspection?
According to NECB minimum ventialtion to be 22L/s and for a dewlening unit you must have a principle ventilation. Thats where the cofusion because this unit is very low capasity and may not serve as a principle ventilation.
