If you’re looking to convert your radiant floor from a gas-powered boiler to an electrically-powered boiler there should be no problem doing that, so I’m not sure what I’m missing. But if you’ve been told that by an HVAC installer please let us know in greater detail how your current system is configured and what advice you were given in case there is a solid reason for not being able to do that.
But as for having an electric radiant floor, I have one myself, so yes, electric radiant floor boilers exist.
I am building a slab on grade home in new bruinswick, I already build one and love it - I am seriously thinking legalett this time since the home in rectangular. But if I dont use legalett what electric boiler would you suggest for the hydronic in floor heat.. and any suggestion for portable water heat..Also I am tight with space and keep my mechanical room as small as possiable 4'x5' this size works perfect in the house I build.. for that reason i was thinking of this model below its a combi model electric..
cheers Mikael.

I would love to ask you some questions about your setup. I'm also in NB and currently on propane but want to switch. Want to email me? [email protected]
