What lawn alternatives are there?
Please help me find a landscape company near me who can advise me on alternative ground cover for a very shady sloping area and install as well.

Choosing a more eco-friendly ground cover than Kentucky blue grass that will be better for slopes and shady areas may not mean sourcing the right landscaping company as much as choosing a product and then deciding how to proceed. You may be able to find a company to lay a more drought-resistant turf that will do better in the shade, but you may also be able to just buy a bag of seed much cheaper. You could call a local landscaping companies for guidance, they may be able to help you source alternatives as well. We will soon have a green building directory up and running where you will be able to find local contractors but we’re not there just yet unfortunately!
